Fire Safety Week
Who: Second Grade Classes
When: October 4th-8th, 2 sessions per day at 9:30 am and 10:45 am
Where: C.H. Hackley Fire Barn Museum,
which is located at 510 W. Clay
To register, teachers can contact the Education
Department at 722-0278. This is an excellent
opportunity to have your students participate in an
educational life saving program.
Michigan Indian Culture Days
Grades: 3-5
Capacity: 9 classes per day
Program Time: November 8 - 12, 2010
This interactive educational experience is designed to preserve and capture
Michigan Indian Culture. Participants will:
- View demonstrations
- Listen to Native American presenters
- Observe and participate in Pow Wow dancing

Registration is required and begins Friday, September
24th at 8:00 a.m.
Enviroworks
Grades: K-6
Capacity: 30 participants per session
Enviroworks is a one-week camp that targets elementary school level children
and challenges them to explore their environment. It is conducted weekdays
from 9 a.m. to Noon, during the last two full weeks of July.
This program is free but registration is required.
