Fire Safety Week
Who:
Second Grade Classes
When: October 4th-8th, 2 sessions per day at 9:30 am and 10:45 am
Where: C.H. Hackley Fire Barn Museum,
which is located at 510 W. Clay
To register, teachers can contact the Education
Department at 722-0278. This is an excellent
opportunity to have your students participate in an
educational life saving program.

Michigan Indian Culture Days

Grades: 3-5
Capacity: 9 classes per day
Program Time: November 8 - 12, 2010
This interactive educational experience is designed to preserve and capture Michigan Indian Culture. Participants will:

  1. View demonstrations
  2. Listen to Native American presenters
  3. Observe and participate in Pow Wow dancing

Prepatory Material Quiz Resources Coloring Book

Registration is required and begins Friday, September
24th at 8:00 a.m.

Enviroworks
Grades: K-6
Capacity: 30 participants per session
Enviroworks is a one-week camp that targets elementary school level children and challenges them to explore their environment. It is conducted weekdays from 9 a.m. to Noon, during the last two full weeks of July.

This program is free but registration is required.
